Harry Potter in the Library

I thought I would share this with all of you because when I saw it it made me smile. happy happy

This last Monday the elementary school my son will be attending was celebrating their 150th birthday. They had tons of stuff for the kids to do and a BBQ but what I found to be the best part was in the little library. Fort Vannoy is a very small school, so you can imagine the size they have been given for their library. It looked like the typical library; each shelf crammed with as many childrens books they could fit in them. There was about 4 small tables in the middle of the room. Along the wall opposite to the door was windows. What caught my eye was sitting on top of the far wall. Sitting on top the top shelf was every Harry Potter book sitting in books stands, a miniture version of Hogwarts, a large figurine of Hagrid, and other misc. things relating to Harry Potter. You hear stories all the time how school systems and parents are fighting to keep Harry Potter out of the school libraries. I was excited to see that this little school was embracing the wonderful story of Harry Potter and the good that lies within and the imagination that it brings to the children.
